TimeLine

This program lists events of the Bible, shows the references where the event is found, shows the date of the event, and lists related events and people.

The Main view contains the Data area, the Records area, and the Timeline.

The Data area, the column on the left, lists the events by group. Selecting one of these groups opens the list of all events related to that topic. Clicking on the Sort button will switch to a chronological list of events and people.

The Records area, the area on the right of the screen, shows all the records about the selected event. To view the records about an event, select an event from either the Data area or the Timeline.

The Timeline appears at the bottom. You can scroll through the Timeline using the roller on the mouse. Scrolling up moves you backwards in time. Scrolling down moves you forwards. You can zoom in by holding the Shift button while scrolling.

On the lower edge of the timeline there are several calendars: the Western calender, the Hebrew calendar, and the number of years from Adam. On the top edge of the timeline there are some stardates. The SD Adam is the stardate with 0 starting at Adam. The other SD starts with Jan 1 year 1.

The Generic Calendar can be "zeroed" to any time by right clicking a that time anywhere in the plot. NOTE calender start on year one day 1, not zero.

The Run button gets you started and opens the Timeline.

You can search for events in the search bar. Type your event or any word and select Search. Searches can be cumulative and can then cancelled

The Refresh refreshes the Time line plot.
Useful if after a search since then the plot will reflect only these events.
